I check the list. Rubber tubing, gas, saw, gloves, cuffs, razor wire, hatchet, Gladys, and my mitts.

Another week gone by and nothing much to report here, other than the weather. It's turned absolutely glorious.
Something called the 'yellow dust' affects Korea around this time of year every year. Some sandstorms in the Gobi desert apparently send some of this stuff down to us. At first I thought nothing of it, but it is definitely noticeable. You can't see the stuff at all (until you get home from being out and find marks on your clothes where you have been sweating a lot). The affect it has is quite terrible, a VERY dry throat and the inability to work at a computer screen for any length of time as your eyes become dry and tired.
A lot of the kids are walking about with their little masks on to protect them from it, and earlier in the week when the yellow dust was at its worst we weren't allowed to open the windows at the school for fear of the kids getting sick.
Luckily it's pretty much passed now so we can all get back to worrying about the threat from the North and the absolutely shocking driving done by pretty much every person in a car here.
On a super happy note, my brother Barry and his lovely wife Julie will be arriving in Seoul on Sunday morning. I have been given some time off of work and we are going to travel to Busan. Busan is the second biggest city in South Korea, I know nothing else about it.

I didn't know that one either.

However, I do know that most of the sand that makes up the glorious beaches of the West Indies, Cuba, Santa Whatever and all the other paradise dicatorship islands in that area comes from the Sahara.

Yes, millions of tons of sand were carried over the Atlantic Ocean in the butt cracks of slaves and scratched out in the new world. Or possibly it's added to annually by the wind -- I know which version I'd rather believe.

Well done to Claire there for getting that one. It's a pretty new film and I didn't expect anyone to get it- kudos.

Claire comes in as the second girl to get a point on the world famous quotes game here at Alanowski Studios (Korea Branch). Keep up the competition folks and the points will be posted soon
