Good news, everybody, we're extending arts and crafts time by four hours today.

Dear Mr. Owksi,

I enjoy dropping fragments of other languages, particularly French and Latin, into casual conversation. This lets other people know that I am smarter than they are, and allows them ample opportunity to agree with my opinions and not look stupid.

Do the people of Korea do something similar? Do the Korean smart people – if there are such things -- quote obscure Chinese dialects or use Russian idioms?

Yours in Superiorilytiness,

Mrs A. Bath,
Bath.

Dear Mrs. Bath (Formerly Mr. Porteous)

Given that my grasp of the language allows me to get places, eat food, and drink beer, I don't think that I am the one to answer your questions fully. I will therefore pass this question on to my esteemed colleague, renowned brainbox, Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter:

Owright me old china?

Apples and pears I love Laaahndon Taahn. Weev got a problem right – cooshtee. Them Ko-ree-ans don’t even tawk the Queens blaaady English. Sittin wiff the trouble and strife, they aww be tawkin maaad lemon curds that saaahnd well Pete Tong.

Stinnit
Del Boy

Well thank you Del Boy, I hope that that was of some assistance to you Mrs. Bath; I look forward to any other questions from you. Also congratulations on the man to woman operation.

Remember folks, Alanowski’s birthday is on the 25th. If you can’t be bothered sending piles of cash, then an e-card would be much appreciated.

Yours incomprehensibly,
Mr Owski

A full 24 hours after I first read this post I'm now allowed to give my answer. I want you to know I haven't slept while this technical problem has been resolved.

Closed my eyes, yes. Slowed my breathing, yes. Exited conciousness and entered a REM state, yes. But slept? No.

Anyway.

It's Happy Gilmore.

DFP.

After a barrage of emails complaining about my site not working for a short time. The point has to go to Porteous, he was first to get it on the site (and also first to get it to my email address)
Remember folks that points can only be gained from getting the first comment with the correct answer.
Top of the table moves ahead once again, by quite an impressive margin.
