The Horribly British Post - Weather
Yesterday got horribly cold. The forecast predicted that it would be a minimum of -7, although at a check in the late evening not long after I was home from work it had hit a soul and body destroying -9.
Snow has been dropping pretty regularly for the past few days, yet it stays sunny for all the times in between. This does nothing to remove the pure bitterness that is all around as it’s pretty windy. I’m looking forward to spring; it’s supposed to be the best season to be in Korea as it’s not too humid (summers can be unbearable at times I am told).
Something was needed to raise my spirits and temperature; my new X-Box took care of that splendidly. Several hours were wasted in front of the idiot box trying to make sprites jump over things that aren’t really there, and imaginary cars go round fictional tracks. I especially liked it when I was James Bond – I was all like ‘KAPOW, BANG BANG, RATATATATATAT’ and the bad guys were all like ‘AAAARGH’ or ‘Ah Mr. Bond I … Urgh’.
Hope all is well, and stay tuned for my first Korean wedding report in the next couple of days.

I have the memory of someone who has done far too many drugs. I consider this to be an outrage since I am in fact whiter-than-beige in that respect. As a result I have no memory whatsoever of encountering any hurdles at PL.
Since this fits perfectly with your recall of events I must conclude that you are correct.
No idea on that quote. If I ever knew it I've forgotten it. I do know that it isn't Blackadder, The West Wing or The Golden Girls -- so that should narrow it down for everybody else.
I hate my job. I also hate the jobs of the people I work with -- so posing as one of them by wearing their skin as a suit isn't the way to go. Clealry I need a "Plan B".
Gref has no idea of the quote but would like some more info on Jack Johnson if you don't mind..........ta.
Well done to the ever vigilant Burnside for getting the most recent quote.
Gref, on the Jack Johnson front check out the website www.jackjohnsonmusic.com good website with a load of music to listen to: the first track that comes on welcoming you to the website is a keeper.
He was a pro surfer then he started making surf videos and playing music over the top of them. Mostly accoustic sounding stuff, well worth a listen.
The information contained in this comment is great, the person who wrote it is also great. All hail Alan, he's just tops!!
Gref (and anyone else, its not a gang thing)
Also have a wee look at this site, some good live accoustic stuff here with Jack Johnson featured.
